3 Steps to Conquering ADD-ADHD by Jon Bennett review

Conquering ADD-ADHD 3 steps

3 Steps to Conquering ADD ADHD is a book published by Jon Bennett, who claims to have created it in response to a bad experience with his brother, who was diagnosed with the condition.

The use of stimulants (such as Ritalin, Adderall, and Dexedrine), the most frequent kind of medicine given for attention deficit disorder, is fraught with controversy. As beneficial as these medicines may be, most physicians believe that the risks should be carefully evaluated against the benefits before prescribing them.

These medicines may induce weight and appetite loss, as well as decreased development and trouble sleeping. Other physicians believe that if they properly monitor the child’s height, weight, and general growth, the advantages of medicine much exceed the risks. And many of the adverse effects that do occur are typically manageable by decreasing the dose.

Bennett’s book provides an alternative to the medication treatment that many ADD/ADHD patients are exposed to, which creates worry for their parents and loved ones.

One of the most difficult aspects of diagnosing ADD/ADHD is that there are so many different disorders (at least 50) that resemble ADD/ADHD symptoms. Because ADD is nothing more than a collection of traits, there is no definitive medical test that can identify whether or not someone has the condition.

3 Steps to Overcoming ADD ADHD implies that individuals are being labeled with ADD or ADHD and being given potentially hazardous medicines to address the condition when they may not even have it.

Oxford University, the National Library of Medicine, and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute ALL agree that ADD/ADHD symptoms may be removed organically, and Bennet explains how in his book.

First, he bases his teaching on research indicating that individuals with ADD/ADHD have a severe deficiency/imbalance of brain chemicals known as neurotransmitters. They deplete nutrients and neurotransmitters more quicker than the typical person, and they do not provide their brains with the necessary vitamins and minerals.

Bennet says that following the directions in his book for 2 minutes a day would produce effects, and that his techniques have been utilized successfully by thousands of individuals all over the globe.

His book goes into depth on which foods, vitamins, and minerals he thinks ADD-ADHD individuals may eat to help with the disease and which would make it worse if eaten.
